A Free Granny Square Pattern
I designed this square to be a contribution to The Unraveled Mitten’s 2021 Afghan Crochet Along. This is the third afghan CAL I’ve contributed to, and I must say I really love designing afghan squares. I hope you enjoy this pattern, as well!
The Maia Square was named for the Roman Goddess of spring and rebirth, and after the year everyone has had, it is nice to look forward to the warmth and blooms that follow spring.
The Maia Square is 12×12 inches worked in worsted yarn with a J-6mm hook, although you could work less rounds to make a smaller square. I used 2 colors for this square, but you could work it all in one or even use more.

I’m so sorry for the inconvenience. I thought I had finalized it on Ravelry, but I had not. It is there now.
I went to Raverly to download this square (Maia Square). I tried to purchase with 2 different credit cards without success. What is the problem? Please advise. I would like this pattern. I have difficulty working without the instruction in front of me. Thank you for your assistance.
